Eligible Warren County voters can now request absentee by-mail ballots for the Aug. 6 election.
“Our office is ready to receive absentee by-mail ballot requests for the August election,” said Warren County Administrator of Elections Susie Davenport. “Because of the recent resignation in the 3rd County Commission District and the resulting extended June 12 qualifying deadline, the ballots are not finalized yet. However, I want to encourage Warren County voters who wish to vote absentee to go ahead and begin getting their requests in. We will process the requests we receive and be ready to send out those ballots as quickly as possible after they are finalized.”
The August ballot will contain both state and federal primary and county general elections.
