Judge Ross hears court docket

A man who led authorities through heavy traffic on a dangerous street chase last Friday had his case bound to the grand jury.The fugitive, John Bohr, was bound to the grand jury Thursday by General Sessions Judge Larry Ross on charges of evading arrest, reckless endangerment, improper passing, and driving on a suspended license. He is charged with leading a highway patrolman on a pursuit down Beersheba Street and running several cars off the road.In other court action:• Peggy Bowdoin was ordered to serve an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $352 and lose her driver license for one year for fourth-offense driving on a suspended license.• Christopher Gibbs was directed to serve 75 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $256 for falsification of a drug test, second-offense DUI and public intoxication.• Phillip Mooneyham was issued a six-month probationary sentence, must pay $514 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license.• Shawn King was handed a six-month probationary sentence, must pay $504, and lose driving privileges for one year for driving on a suspended license.• Adam Cable, Mark Jones and Carolyn Phillips were directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,109, perform 24 hours public service work, and lose their driver licenses for one year for DUI.• Joshua Bilyeu was instructed to serve four days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,511, perform 24 hours public service work, and lose his license for one year for DUI and violation of probation.• Jamie Prater was instructed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $352 and lose driving privileges for one year for driving on a revoked license. • Shawn Martin was bound to the grand jury on charges of possession of drugs for resale and drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license. He must serve 48 hours for failure to appear in court.• Jamie Huckstead was given a six-month probationary sentence, ordered to pay $406, and perform 16 hours public service work for possession of drug paraphernalia.• Angela Carter was instructed to serve 48 hours and pay $232 for driving without a license.• Angela Ramirez was ordered to serve seven days and pay $282 for driving without a license.• Keith Prater must pay $456 for driving without a license, insurance or registration.• Jacob Blanton was directed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $657 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license.• Barbara Stubblefield must pay $320 for driving without a license and failure to yield.• Lendsey Webb must serve 48 hours and pay $272 for driving without a license.• Scotty Grizzle must pay $219 for driving without a license.• Charity Fults and Darlene Radekin must pay $152 for driving without a license.• Jamie Prater must serve 60 days for violation of probation.
