A 17-person docket was heard Tuesday morning by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions arraignment court. Included in the morning session:
• Allen Sims was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, undergo a drug and alcohol assessment, perform 25 hours public service work, pay $75 plus costs and was warned to stay out of Walmart for shoplifting and criminal trespassing.
• Suzanne Reed was handed an 11-29 probationary sentence and must perform 24 hours public service work, make $28 restitution, and was warned to stay out of Walmart for shoplifting.
• Austin Owens was ordered to serve four days, pay $60 plus costs and perform 16 hours public service work for underage consumption and public intoxication.
• Mark Ramirez must pay $10 plus costs for public intoxication.
• Zachare Crittenden must serve 90 days and have his probation extended by a year for violation of probation.
• Brandi Fults was directed to serve five days and undergo a drug and alcohol assessment for violation of probation.
• Crystal Johnson must serve two days and undergo a drug and alcohol assessment for violation of probation.
• Ola Maddux was directed to serve 20 days and have probation extended by one year for violation of probation and failure to appear in court.
• Brandon Martin was ordered to serve 60 days and have her probation extended for violation of probation.
• Johnny Stephens must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.

CLARIFICATION
Terry Duane Jones of Old Morrison Road is not the same person on the General Sessions docket.

Local talent heads to Park

The next installment of The Park Theater’s Local Connection Concert Series is set to take center stage this Saturday, April 5 with Tito Gomez.

The Local Connection Concert Series put on The Park Theater focuses on talent sourced from the community. Gomez began his music career 14 years ago with a local band and has since released his solo album, “Lo Que Habia Soñado,” in 2016. He was born in Los Angeles, California but is well-known in the Warren County community as Victor Gomez.

Saturday night’s show will entail the singer-songwriter’s regional Mexican music, such as “El Oscar” or “Soy Edgar,” which is Gomez’s most popular song on Spotify.

The show begins at 7 p.m. and is expected to last approximately two hours. General admission is $15 and tickets can be purchased on Park Theater’s website, mcminnvilleparktheater.com, by phone at (931) 506-2787 or at its box office during normal business hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. If available, a limited number of tickets may be purchased at the door on the day of the event, while supplies last.
