Traffic trial and arraignment dockets were heard on Thursday by Judge Ryan J. Moore in General Sessions Court. Included in Thursday’s action:
• Joshua Andrew Biles pleaded guilty to DUI second offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 45 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, $600 fine, pay court costs, 24 hours of public service work, 2 year license revocation, attend the victim impact panel, alcohol safety education class, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment. He also pleaded guilty to three assault charges and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 60 days in jail on each count, the balance on supervised probation. All sentences run consecutively.
• A failure to appear was issued against Andy Gower and his bond was revoked. A new bond was set at $7,000. He is charged with driving on a suspended license.
• Seth Greene waived his right to a preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with DUI first offense, possession of methamphetamine, driving on a suspended license, introduction of contraband into a penal institution, delivery of methamphetamine and financial responsibility law violation.
• A failure to appear was issued against William Hairell and his bond was revoked. A new bond was set at $20,000. He is charged with possession of methamphetamine and driving an unregistered vehicle on a highway.
• A failure to appear was issued against Madison Herzog and a bond was set at $3,000. She is charged with driving on a suspended license and license plate violation.
• Jonathan Wade Hummel pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle without a functioning interlock device and was assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to following too closely and was assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs.
• A failure to appear was issued against Nathan Lynn Judkins. A bond was set at $3,000. He is charged with driving on a suspended license second or subsequent offense.
• Cody R. Lester waived his preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with evading arrest, reckless endangerment, simple possession, attempted tampering with evidence, and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
• Juana Rodriguez pleaded guilty to prohibited use of handheld mobile device while driving. She was assessed a $300 contribution, plus court costs.
• Jose M. Yau Rosario pleaded guilty to a DUI first offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, attend the victim impact panel, complete the alcohol safety education class, loss of driving privileges for 1 year, $350 fine, 24 hours of community service, plus court costs.
• A failure to appear was issued against Tyler Chase Smith and a $3,000 bond was set. He is charged with driving on a suspended license.
• A failure to appear was issued against Patricia L. Turner and her bond was forfeited. A new bond was set at $100,000. She is charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule II drug with the intent to sell, possession of a Schedule IV drug with the intent to sell, possession of methamphetamine, driving while in possession of methamphetamine, unlawful drug paraphernalia and criminal impersonation.
• Geoffrey R. Washom pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, pay a $750 fine, plus court costs, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment.
• Leonardo N. Aguilar pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $10 fine, plus court costs.
• Jose Cruz Aguazul pleaded guilty to a window tint violation and was assessed a $10 fine. He also pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $10 fine, plus court costs.
• James A. Jennings pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and was sentenced to 6 months to serve 4 days in jail, the balance on unsupervised probation, plus court costs.
• Felicia Paige Roberts pleaded guilty to speeding and was assessed a $10 fine, plus court costs.
• Paige Lynn Simmons was ordered to attend safe driving school for speeding.
• Cory Alan Sydenstricker was ordered to attend safe driving school for speeding.
• Grace Emily Woodlee pleaded guilty to a DUI first offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 32 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, $1,000 fine, court costs, attend the victim impact panel, complete the alcohol education class, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment, 24 hours of public service work and loss of driving privileges for one year. She also pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 100 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, plus court costs. These sentences run consecutively. She also pleaded guilty to financial responsibility law violation and was assessed a $10 fine, plus court costs.
• Toby Lynn Young pleaded guilty to a DUI first offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, $350 fine, plus court costs, attend the victim impact panel, attend the alcohol safety education class, perform 24 hours of community service work, loss of driving privileges for year, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment.
