A 28-person docket was heard by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions Trial Court. Included in court action:
• Charles E. Bell was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $250 plus costs and attend batterer intervention for possession of marijuana and domestic assault.
• Manuel Cruz was handed an 11-29 probationary sentence and must attend the batterer intervention program for domestic assault.
• Jeffery W. Stephens was handed an 11-29 probationary sentence and must enter the batterer intervention program and have no contact with the victim for domestic assault.
• Kendrick Lockett was bound to the grand jury on the charge of domestic assault.
• Brandon Tucker was instructed to serve 10 days of an 11-29 sentence and attend the batterer intervention program for domestic assault.
• Cindy Swan was bound to the grand jury on the charge of assault.
• Lonnie Lovvorn was bound to the grand jury on the charge of possession of a weapon.
• Bobby McClure was ordered to serve four days of an 11-29 sentence for violating an order of protection.
• Mack Mullican Jr., was bound to the grand jury on the charge of initiating the process to manufacture meth.
• Daniel Pendergraph was bound to the grand jury on the charge of initiating the process to manufacture meth.
• Jordan Gribble was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $250 plus costs and perform 25 hours public service work for possession of marijuana.
• James Bennett was bound to the grand jury on the charge of shoplifting.
• Matthew Elkins must serve 48 hours and pay $10 plus costs for public intoxication.
• Ricky L. Welch must serve 48 hours and pay $10 plus costs for public intoxication.
• Catherine Hennessee was handed an 11-29 probationary sentence and must make restitution on four worthless checks.
• John Northcutt was directed to serve 10 days and have his probation extended by four months for violation of probation.

Local talent heads to Park

The next installment of The Park Theater’s Local Connection Concert Series is set to take center stage this Saturday, April 5 with Tito Gomez.

The Local Connection Concert Series put on The Park Theater focuses on talent sourced from the community. Gomez began his music career 14 years ago with a local band and has since released his solo album, “Lo Que Habia Soñado,” in 2016. He was born in Los Angeles, California but is well-known in the Warren County community as Victor Gomez.

Saturday night’s show will entail the singer-songwriter’s regional Mexican music, such as “El Oscar” or “Soy Edgar,” which is Gomez’s most popular song on Spotify.

The show begins at 7 p.m. and is expected to last approximately two hours. General admission is $15 and tickets can be purchased on Park Theater’s website, mcminnvilleparktheater.com, by phone at (931) 506-2787 or at its box office during normal business hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. If available, a limited number of tickets may be purchased at the door on the day of the event, while supplies last.
