Be prepared for some red, white, and blue, as well as many other colors, Wednesday night when Dr Pepper lights up the sky with its annual fireworks show at McMinnville Civic Center.McMinnville Fire Department Chief Randy Walker says the show will go on. However, burning permits are being denied.“Due to the dry conditions, and the low humidity during the day, the department has stopped issuing burn permits effective June 28,” said Walker. “This will remain in effect until the fire danger lessens.”While the lights in the sky are sure to be impressive, be aware of the blue and red lights closer to the ground seen before, during and after the fireworks display.
