Dibrell archery team sets sights on national tourney

Dibrell was aiming for a trip to the National Archery Tournament and the Wildcats were on target.Dibrell’s 5-6 grade archery team finished second last week in the elementary division of the State Archery Tournament in Murfreesboro. The Wildcats earned a trip to nationals based on their score of 2,868.Dibrell coach Mike Mullins said only first-place teams are guaranteed a berth in nationals, but the Wildcats qualified based on their team score.“It was pretty amazing to go to the website and see Dibrell there in second place,” said Mullins. “To finish second on our first go-around at this is pretty good, but we entered the tournament with high expectations.
