Motorists traveling Nashville Highway beginning tomorrow could face delays due to lane closures. TDOT is having a 12.85-mile section resurfaced in Warren County and Cannon County.“Once the new SR-1 is complete, the current state route will become a county road, so the respective counties will be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the old road,” said TDOT spokesperson Jennifer Flynn. “Before the road becomes the responsibility of those counties, we wanted to get it in good shape so they won’t have to worry about resurfacing it for several years.”The project is not a full depth paving project.
