The annual Centertown Cemetery Decoration Day will be taking place. There will be someone there after 1 p.m. to take donations or send them to 8087 Jacksboro Rd., McMinnville, TN 37110.
Salem Cemetery is having Decoration Day with a covered dish meal beginning at 12:30 p.m. Come and enjoy fellowship and celebrate the lives of those who have gone on. They are also taking donations for a new fence project. For more information, call Lisa Foster at 931-273-6610.
There will be a revival at Cumberland Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, 229 Rocky River Road, from May 19-23. Guest speakers include Richard Stone, Jonathan Hankins, Jamey Pack, Doyle Nance, Harold Robinson and Bill Montandon.
The New Union Cemetery Association will meet at 2:30 p.m. at New Union United Methodist Church on Highway 30. The meeting will be held to elect new trustees and discuss cemetery business.
Trinity Baptist Church, 1701 John Oliver Road, is having an old-fashioned gospel singing at 6 p.m. with The Caravan Singers and special speaker Richard Bond.
Gath Cemetery Decoration Day is taking place. Donations for upkeep of cemetery may be sent to Gath Baptist Church, 6967 Smithville Hwy.
The Bethany Cemetery Decoration will be taking place. Donations for upkeep may be sent to Bethany Cemetery Fund, 780 Bethany Rd., McMinnville, TN 37110.

Westwood Church of Christ will have its free clothing giveaway from 8 to 10 a.m.
SATURDAY, MAY 25
Noon Exchange Club of McMinnville and Botanico Inc. will present the community’s inaugural Memorial Day Healing Field at Caney Fork Electric Cooperative on Smithville Highway from May 25-27. The display will feature 132 American flags representing the 132 local military lives lost in war. A patriotic opening ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 25 and the field will be open to the public all three days from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For information on sponsoring a flag for $50, call (931) 607-6599 or visit the Noon Exchange Club of McMinnville Facebook page.
There will be a women’s conference held at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 111 River Dr., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The theme is Women of Royal Blue, Silver and Purple. Lunch will be provided and the special singer will be Cindy Bouldin, along with speaker Joyce Crowe. A covered dish or dessert would be appreciated.

There will be a Decoration Day at Rowland Station Cemetery located on Hennessee Bridge Road on Saturday, June 1 with a business meeting beginning at 11 a.m. and lunch following afterward. The annual Decoration Day for Banks Cemetery in DeKalb County will be Sunday, June 2. Banks Cumberland Presbyterian Church will also have Homecoming Day.
