A car collided with a stone wall on West Main Street on Tuesday at 5:38 p.m. 

Sheryl Yates, 49, of McMinnville was heading outbound toward Newtown in her red Jeep Wrangler when she stopped to allow a car in front of her to turn. Abbie Argo, 26, also of McMinnville, driving a silver 2015 Nissan Altima, proceeded to rear-end the stopped vehicle of Yates, according to a McMinnville Police report.. 

Argo’s vehicle was sent into the cobblestone retaining wall after impact, where it finally came to rest. Both Argo and her passenger were transported to Ascension Saint Thomas River Park Hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. No citations were issued at this time.
