A parking lot brawl involving two teenage girls, and perhaps some of their family members and bystanders, erupted after a girls Jaycee basketball game at Bobby Ray Elementary yesterday.“It all began, as we understand it, with an argument which broke out on the ball court floor,” said McMinnville Police Sgt. Bill Davis, who was among officers who responded. “It then went into the parking lot where blows were thrown.”Davis said some witnesses said the girls were fighting in the parking lot and one of the teen girls followed the other into her family’s car still throwing punches. “We believe some parents got involved and there could have been some pushing and shoving and maybe some punches thrown,” Davis said, noting there were several altercations going on in the parking lot prior to police arriving.
