NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Nashville police have arrested three brothers after a 17-year-old girl was shot in the arm while she was sitting on a parked school bus.

Police said on Wednesday that 20-year-old Marquise Northcutt; his brother, 18-year-old Deondrae Northcutt; and their half-brother, 19-year-old Teddarrius Perry, are each charged with aggravated assault. Additionally, police charged Deondrae Northcutt with felony reckless endangerment.

Police said the brothers went to Pearl Cohn High School on Tuesday to visit friends after school when they started a fight with a member of a rival gang. Police said Deondrae Northcutt admitted he fired a gun and accidentally hit the girl on bus. She was treated at a hospital and released.

Deondrae Northcutt remains in jail on a $101,000 bond. No attorney was listed in his jail record.
