It took a last-second shot for the WCMS boys to preserve their undefeated regular season.The Pioneers won a cliff hanger Tuesday night in Manchester when they defeated Coffee County, 39-38.“We barely squeezed it out,” said WCMS (14-0) head coach Isaiah Phillips. After three quarters of play, Coffee County had a 29-28 lead. That one-point margin was still intact, 38-37, with just seconds remaining.That’s when Pioneer C.J. Taylor put an exclamation point on what was a spectacular performance.
