Saving the best for last should be the motto of the Warren County Middle School baseball team. For the third straight year, it seems like the Pioneers are peaking in the Central Tennessee Conference tournament.Warren County forged a path into the winner’s bracket finals of the CTC tournament by beating Shelbyville 11-6 Monday and following it up with a 7-1 victory over Tullahoma Tuesday night. The Pioneers will face Franklin North Friday night in Franklin County with a berth in the championship game on the line.In the last two years, Warren County has finished second in the CTC tournament while playing its most inspired ball at the end of the year.
