Slight change of plans
Pioneers' final game Thursday
DevinWEB
Devin Jordan returned from an injury last Friday against Riverdale. Jordan is one of the leaders on the Pioneer offensive line.

Coach Tom Moore has one less day to prepare for the state's top team.
The decision was made Tuesday to move the Warren County - Oakland season finale up one day for fear of severe weather. The game, originally slated to be Friday night, now will be played Thursday night in Murfreesboro. Kickoff will still be at 7 p.m.
Oakland (9-0) enters the game as the No. 1 team in 6A. The Patriots have earned the distinction while facing one of the toughest schedules in the state. Oakland won a showdown with No. 3 Maryville 17-14 and topped No. 10 Blackman 42-21 last month.
Warren County (3-6) will be playing its season finale Thursday. The Pioneers have been eliminated from playoff contention, ending a two-year streak of postseason berths.
Warren County has lost the last two meetings with Oakland 59-0 and 48-7. Flipping the script this season won't be easy.
Oakland has allowed over 20 points only one time this season while averaging nearly 42 points on offense. The Patriots have relied heavily on their running game, especially senior Jeron Rooks.
Rooks enters Thursday's game with 1,165 yards rushing and 19 touchdowns. Rooks also has 18 catches for 431 yards and six more scores.
