A change of scenery was the biggest reason why coach Tommy Johnson believes his team had its best camp since his arrival three years ago.It wasn’t a change of where the Warren County High School football team practiced though. It was where the Pioneers slept each night that made coach Johnson feel like the first week of fall practice was a major success for his team.“I think the guys really enjoyed getting to sleep in their own bed at night,” said Johnson. “It feels like the guys still have their legs under them and every practice went smoothly.”For the past two years, coach Johnson held training camp much like NFL teams do.
