Pioneers down Tullahoma East

The Warren County Middle School boys team edged back over .500 with a 41-29 victory over Tullahoma East. The victory snapped a two-game losing streak and improved the Pioneers to 5-4 overall this season.

Caden Beaty powered the Pioneers to victory, scoring a season-high 20 points during Monday's home victory. Beaty scored 17 of his points in the second half, when Warren County rallied from a halftime deficit to win.
Asher Wallace added 8 points, followed by Eli Kuykendall with 4. Layne Roberts got his lone points on a 3-pointer in the second quarter, while Hudson O'Connor, Trevor Wanamaker and Chance Hunter chipped in 2 points each.

Warren County will be back in action Thursday night at home against White County. The Pioneers also travel to DeKalb County Friday for a day game against the Saints. Thursday's start is set for 7 p.m. Friday's game will begin at 1 p.m.
