The 7-8 grade Warren County Middle School Lady Pioneers garnered their first win Monday night, 45-12, as they played host to Tullahoma East’s Lady Panthers.
Lady Pioneer Kadence Ledbetter quarterbacked most of the offense with a game-high 15 points. Working inside all evening, Warren County (1-2) was able to penetrate the Lady Panthers zone at will and were able to finish around the basket as nine players posted points.
Not dropping any defensive assignments, the Warren County D held the Lady Panthers to only four buckets all night. The other 8 points came from the foul line. Only three players for East hit hoops all game.
Also scoring for Warren County were Nautica Brown and Kamryn Nowlin with 6 points each, Taylor Swan had 5, Ebonie Ross scored 4 points, Elia Atterson hit for 3 points and Madalyn Stubblefield, Katie Toney and Brooke Evans all hit for 2 points.
The Lady Pioneers will play host to Coffee County Monday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m.
