The Warren County High School Lady Pioneer soccer team was back in action at home Tuesday night when it faced the Coffee County Lady Raiders at WCHS.The Lady Pioneers were coming off a loss to Riverdale last week which saw the Lady Pioneers fall, 2-1.The Lady Pioneers never got on track against the Lady Raiders as they fell behind and ultimately lost the game, 4-0, sending their record to 0-2 at home.The game was a back-and-forth contest in the first half, but the Lady Raiders found the back of the Lady Pioneer net twice to take a two-goal lead at halftime, 2-0.Early in the second half, the Lady Raiders continued to put their foot on the gas, as they scored four minutes into the half to take a three-goal lead, 3-0.Two minutes later, the Lady Raiders used a quick attack, as they found the back of the net for the fourth time in the match, 4-0, dashing any hope of a Lady Pioneer comeback.The Lady Pioneers never cut into the Lady Raiders lead the rest of the way, ultimately handing the Lady Pioneers their second consecutive loss at home, 4-0.The Lady Pioneers were back in action yesterday as they traveled to Ooltewah to take on the Ooltewah Owls. Results weren’t available at press time.
