Pigskin prognosticators in the community now have a place to prove they are the best.This year, the Southern Standard Pigskin Panel will be open online to all football fans in the community. Players will be able to pick against the Standard’s panel of experts for a chance to win weekly prizes and a grand prize for the best overall picker.Starting Friday, Aug. 22 and running through the Super Bowl, the Pigskin Panel contest will be updated online with a new list of 10 games each week. High school, college and NFL games will all be on the slate.Registration is currently underway at the Southern Standard website.
