The WCHS cross country team is off and running. The Pioneers and Lady Pioneers got their season started Monday, taking part in the Coffee County Invitational featuring nearly 250 runners from the Midstate. Freshman Emma Woodlee paced the Lady Pioneers, placing ninth overall out of 107 female runners with a top time of 23:46. Kayden Solomon (30th overall) was the top finisher for the Pioneers.
