Morrison’s Eagle 5-6 grade basketball team (2-1) defeated visitors Irving College Tigers (0-2), 23-17, after four quarters of play Monday night.The score tied, 14-14 after three quarters, it was Morrison’s offense producing the game-changer as they outscored the Tigers 9-3 in fourth-quarter play.Scoring for Morrison were Caylon Driver with 7 points, Will Davis 6, Ty Morton had 4 points, and Connor Farmer, Kayden Coates and Ethan Hall all contributed 2 points apiece.Earning the 17 Irving College points were Abram Stinson with 8 points, Tanner Wanamaker had 4, Riley Wanamaker had 3 points, and Hunter Fults scored 2 points.
