Dance team wins TSSAA competition

The Warren County High School Pioneerette dance team has gotten back to where it once was for many years. Over the weekend, the Pioneerettes captured the TSSAA state dance championship.The Pioneerettes were named the top team in Tennessee in the small division varsity pom category, defeating last year’s state champion Briarcrest Christian.Competing on the MTSU campus at Murphy Center, the Pioneerettes received a score of 89.13 out of a possible 100 points. The total was enough to edge runner-up Hendersonville for the title.
