Before Noah Campbell was the hero in the boys 11-12 senior league tournament championship game, he was the goat.Campbell was called out for missing home in the sixth, denying Dream Builders a chance to win the game, but he came through with the game-winning hit in the seventh inning as Dream Builders won 5-4 over Hall’s Backhoe.Campbell’s bases-loaded single in the bottom of the seventh ended a crazy championship game that saw neither team lead by more than one and big calls change the momentum more than once.No call loomed larger than Campbell being called out for missing home. Dream Builders trailed 3-2 entering the bottom of the sixth, but Campbell led off the inning with a double. After stealing third, Campbell walked in easily for the tying run when Ethan Smith tripled off the right-field fence, or so it seemed. After the ball was thrown into the infield, Hall’s Backhoe catcher Cole Estes demanded the ball at home.
