As I was returning home last Saturday afternoon, I tuned into NASCAR to get an update on the race. I was a bit confused since I thought I was listening to the XFINITY Series race but all I heard from the announcers were Monster Energy Cup Series Drivers. For the first 15 minutes, all I heard were the names Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, Brad Keselowski, Kyle Larson, Kevin Harvick, Austin Dillon, Ty Dillon and Aric Amirola.Cup Series drivers dominating the lower NASCAR divisions has been a pet peeve of mine, and when NASCAR announced it was limiting the participation of Cup Series drivers in the XFINITY and Truck Series, I thought it might ease the problem.
