TO THE EDITOR:I think it is false to say that there has been no property tax increase in the past 15 years.It's true that the rate has not increased. However, most property values have increased and the amount of tax collected has likewise increased as the properties in Warren County have been reappraised every five years at mostly higher values.I would guess there are very few people paying the same amount of property tax they did 15 years ago.The people in our local government should state the truth and not try to mislead the citizens into thinking property taxes have not increased and that they need more money.Also, I would like to vote for Hooters as the restaurant I'd most like to see locate here. However, it is not listed in your survey.
