McMinnville resident and Warren County native Yuvonne Colwell, 42, was born Dec. 10, 1979 and died Jan. 22 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville following a sudden illness.

A caregiver with Community Options in Cookeville, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Wayne Colwell and Henrietta Burgess. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandparents, Tom and Poinsettia Davis Roberts.

Miss Colwell is survived by one aunt and uncle, Louise and Wayne Simmons of Manchester, one special cousin and spouse, Paul and Jacquita Caldwell of McMinnville, several cousins, and special friends, Maranda and Greg Dodd of McMinnville also survive.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at High’s Chapel with Henry Roark officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m., and Friday from 9 a.m. until time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
