Wilma Hazel Smartt, 73, died at her home, Friday, March 16.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Altamont Ward. She was born in Altamont on Oct. 21, 1938 to Stanley E. Sr., and Elsie Fults Campbell, who preceded her in death along with her brothers, Stanley, Jackie and Jimmy Campbell; son-in-law, John Lind; and sisters-in-law, Christine and Ilene Campbell. She is survived by her husband, Marcus Smartt; daughters, Debbie Lind of Crossville and Carla Pirtle of Altamont; brothers, Earl David (Brenda), Larry (Treva) and Barry (Linda) Campbell; sisters, Margaret Byars, Linna (Russell) Ladd, Janice (James) Hall, Sharon (James) Curtis, Patricia Mitchell and Sheila (Bob) Pope; sister-in-law, Gail Campbell; grandchildren, Mica Wannamaker, Ashlea (Micah) Layne and Taylor Pirtle; great-grandchildren, Mica Wannamaker Jr., and Emily Wannamaker; a host of loving nieces and nephews; and special friend, Georgia.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the LDS Church at Altamont with burial to follow at Fults Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at laynefuneralhome.com.
