William Stanley “Bill” Jones, 82, was born June 23, 1935 in Summerville, Ga., to William Issac and Mildred Ashworth Jones and departed from this life on Sept. 28 at his home in Spencer. Bill lived a very active life. He attended Chattanooga State Community College and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga while living in East Ridge and was a member of the Chattanooga area Relic Club.
