McMinnville resident and Warren County native Wanda Faye Johnson, 73, was born Aug. 10, 1947 and died Jan. 14 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville following an extended illness.
A retired self-employed caregiver and member of First United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Francis Elmer Leon and Annie Mai Pack Green. She was married to Burgess Johnson, who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Marie Hobbs and Donna Jean Green, and brothers James Alvin Green, Wilburn Leon Green, David Clark Green and Donald Dean Green.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by three children and spouses, Tim and Melody West, Tina and Wayne Hopkins, and David and Julie Holt, 10 grandchildren and spouses, Holly and Aaron Martin, Ben and Tiffany Hopkins, Sarah West, Rebekah West, Joseph West, Adam West, Candice and Brian Terry, Lucas Holt, McKenzie Holt, and Gracie Holt, 10 great-grandchildren, Beckley West, Jaxson Martin, Cameron Martin, Hannah Hopkins, Hadasah Hopkins, Makaylah Hopkins, Treyton Terry, Ashlyn Terry, Lauryn Terry, and Jayden Terry, two sisters Brenda Ann McMillen and Rosa Driver, sister-in-law Sandra Green, and special friends Pat Haltman and Edith Martin also survive.
Graveside service and interment will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, at Spring Hill Cemetery in Walling with Wayne Hopkins and Aaron Martin officiating.
