Mr. Tony Wayne Malone, 52, of McMinnville , died Friday, Oct. 28, 2022 at his residence of an extended illness. He was born on Oct. 16, 1970 in Athens, Ala., became a truck driver at an early age, and was a life-long Alabama Football Fan. Mr. Malone was preceded in death by his father Jerry Wayne Malone and his brother Tracy Malone.
Survivors include his wife Lisa Miller Malone; mother Debra Malone; children Eric (Anna) Dodson, Renae (Charles) Tanner and Lacey (Trey) Hobbs; grandchildren Jesse Dodson, Kalie Dodson, Bentlee Hobbs, Elyssia Hobbs, Traeton Hobbs and Keleigh Hobbs; step grandchildren Brittany Campbell and Stacie Campbell; aunt Margie (Tommy) McConnell; mother-in-law and father-in-law Elise and Jerry Killian; sisters-in-law Cheryl Miller and Brenda Cantrell; brothers-in-law Jerry Miller, Johnny Miller and Randall Cantrell; and special friends Jennifer Tidwell, Richard May and Damion Blake. Also survived by cousins and many friends.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Carson Rust and Eric Dodson will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at McMinnville Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Warren County Animal Shelter.
