McMinnville resident and Warren County native Tammy Renee Lance, 49, was born Aug. 3, 1966 and died Nov. 7 at Erlanger Medical Center following a sudden illness. An LPN at Raintree Manor and a member of New Hope Full Gospel Church, she was the daughter of Ricky Hillis of Florida and the late Charlotte Yates. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by stepfather, Merle “Rowdy” Yates.In addition to her father, she is survived by four children and spouses, Johnathon and Deitra Kester of Rock Island, and Brandon and Judy Kester, Amanda and Jeremy Wright, and Casey and Samantha Welch, all of McMinnville; 12 grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Terrenia and Gary Ashburn of McMinnville; and two brothers and sister-in-law, Ricky Clay Hillis of Alabama, and Tony and Paula Hillis of Rock Island.Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in High’s Chapel with Johnny Bouldin officiating.
