Sammy Wayne Mabe, 77

Campaign resident and Warren County native Sammy Wayne Mabe, 77, was born Sept. 11, 1938 and died Sept. 11 at his residence following a sudden illness.
A truck driver and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Jessie Louis and Minnie Edna Brock Mabe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Virginia Mabe Fuqua.
He is survived by two sons, Jeffery W. Mabe of Campaign and Louis Edward Mabe of Rock Island; daughter, Jennifer Rena Mabe of Campaign; six grandchildren, Nicholas Mabe, Ethan Mabe, Kayla Mabe, Natalee Mabe, Madison Mabe and Masen Mabe; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no visitation or service at High’s. Mr. Mabe will be cremated.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
