Ruby Inez Ramirez was born Dec. 5, 1954. The Angel of Mercy took away all suffering, pain and tears on April 3, 2018.

She was born to Inez Green Pitman and the late Alex Pitman. Ruby was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She was a certified health assistant of 17 years for NHC and Raintree Manor. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a very special, loving grandson, Dominque DeShawn Pinegar.

Ruby leaves to cherish her memory daughters Vanessa Renee Pinegar, Brandy Christine Pinegar, Candida Evans and Katoris Burnett; son William Homer Pinegar Jr.; brothers Hollis Pitman and James Pitman; two very special beloved grandsons, Jordan Tyree Pinegar and Chad Maurice Taylor Jr.; two special beloved granddaughters, Tia LaShay Perkins and Jasmine LaNae Pinegar; and 10 other very special grandchildren she loved dearly. Ruby had two nephews and one niece she also loved dearly. Ruby also leaves to cherish her memory, a wonderful husband, friend and stepfather, Felix Ramirez. Also, a very special person that has been in her life that she treated like a son, Raymond Clayton Belcher.

Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at North Hills Church of God of Prophecy with Michael Harris to officiate. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until the time of service at the church. There will be no service or visitation at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
