Mr. Roy Glynn Blanton, 69, of Spencer passed away Tuesday, June 19, with his loving family at his bedside from an extended illness. Mr. Blanton was born Aug. 23, 1948 in Spencer to Roy Martin Blanton and Lola Mae Yates Blanton, who preceded him in death. He was a lifelong resident of Spencer and a member of Welchland Baptist Church.
