Mr. Roy Bouldin Haston, 92, of Spencer died early Friday morning Aug. 25 at his home with his family at his bedside. He was born in Spencer on Sept. 30, 1924 to Edgar L. Haston and Lola Morris Haston who preceded him in death along with his loving devoted wife, Daisy Lee Yates Haston, granddaughter Jennifer Dawn Slatton, brother Edward Haston, and sisters Vernelle Lysmere and Betty McKnoch.He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and the Van Buren County Rescue Squad. He was retired from Dunn Steel.He is survived by son Billie Haston; daughters Linda Slatton and Beulah (Butch) Cope of Spencer; sister Eva Davis of Texas; grandchildren Angie McCoy, Misty and Justin Slatton and Haylon Slatton; great-grandchildren, Adam and Kristen McCoy; several sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews, and special caring friends, Tennie Yates, Mamie Madewell and Bro.
