Rodney Darnell Thomas, 61

Morrison resident and Warren County native Rodney Darnell Thomas, 61, was born July 7, 1961 and died Oct. 30, 2022 at his residence following an extended illness.           

An assembly employee at Yorozu, he was the son of Franklin Womack of McMinnville, and Henrietta Thomas Lusk of Morrison. He was married to Etta Mae Martin of McMinnville.  He was preceded in death by sister, DeAndrea Lusk and grandson, Dominique Pinegar.

In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Thomas is survived by five children, Brandon Thomas of Morrison, Rashad Thomas of Murfreesboro, Mack Thomas of Morrison, April Collins of McMinnville and Trevor Collins of Morrison; three grandchildren, Santana Collins, Layla Rogers and Braxton Thomas; brother, Lenny (Equeesha) Lusk of Morrison; aunt, Evie Northcutt of Tullahoma; several nieces, nephews and cousins and special friend, Amanda Collins of McMinnville.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022 in High’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Saturday from noon until time of service at High’s.
