Roberta Cantrell Green, 80, of Shelbyville, passed on to be with her parents John William Cantrell and Grace Nola Parsley Cantrell on Dec. 2.She was the granddaughter of John H. Parsley and Emma Myrtle Green Parsley of McMinnville. She passed at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville after an extended illness of 10 years, with the last five years being bed bound.She was born in DeKalb County on Oct. 29, 1931 and attended school in Warren County until moving with her parents to Detroit during World War II. After the war, the family moved to Oak Ridge. She graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1949.
