Robert (Bob) Thomas Scritchfield, 82, a McMinnville resident and Mount Morris, Pa., native, was born Oct. 10, 1934 and died after a courageous battle with cancer on Dec. 9 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, earning several medals and awards. He was a retired employee of General Motors, but worked throughout his retirement years as an all-around handyman and had his own business repairing forklifts and automobiles.
