McMinnville resident and Warren County native Reba Jo Newby, 78, was born Jan. 1, 1934 and lost her valiant battle with cancer July 13 at her residence. A retired educator with the Warren County School System and a member of Westwood Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Lawson Irving and Ora Bryant Hill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James W. Hill and Haskell Hill.She was married Aug. 1, 1952 to Bobby Newby of McMinnville.
