Randall William Dodson, 43, of Rock Island died Aug. 28 after an extended illness.Born July 17, 1971 in White County, he was a member of the Church of Christ and retired as a fertilizer manager at Warren Farmers Co-Op. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dolphus Lee and Mary Ruth Smith Dodson and maternal grandparents, Joe Lee and Willie Grace Gribble Carter.Survivors include his wife Eva and son, Nate Dodson; his parents, Ralph and Linda Carter Dodson of Rock Island; sister, Sharon Wright and brother-in-law, Mark Wright; nephews, Jeremy, Trent, and Travis Wright, all of McMinnville; and several other family members and friends.He was cremated per his request and a memorial service to celebrate his life is planned for Sept. 13 at Rock Island Church of Christ from 4 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to www.gofundme.com/dpnp2k?pc+fbsuapp to help family with expenses.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
