Mrs. Oma Lee Holder, 93, of McMinnville (Bratcher’s Crossroads community) died Friday, Oct. 24, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 20, 1921, in Warren County, was a former employee of Colonial Shirt Factory, retired cafeteria worker with Centertown Elementary School, and a Methodist. Mrs. Holder was preceded in death by parents Jet and Dollie Bailey Masey, first husband G.W. Newby, second husband R.P. Holder, and sister Essie Mae Haley.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Carol and Ricky Lance, granddaughter Teresa Lance Lynch and husband Mason, stepsons Kenneth (Joann) Holder, Orris Holder, and Clyde (Gail) Holder, and brother-in-law Rudolph Newby. Step-grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Bobby Wheeler will officiate. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
