Nan Ruth Cantrell, 88, of McMinnville died Saturday, May 9, at Bailey Manor in Manchester.
She was born May 5, 1927 in Warren County and was a homemaker, and a member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ. Mrs. Cantrell was preceded in death by parents, Fulton and Emma Louella Bolt McBride; husband, Cecil C. Cantrell; sisters, Gladys Keel and Doris Simpson; and brothers, Ed, Dewey, and Johnny McBride.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Gene Croyle of Plano, Texas; sister Lola Jane Stanton of Murfreesboro; and granddaughter Alison Croyle of Kailua, Hawaii. Several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Tony Lawrence will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The Cantrell family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m., and again Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
