Rock Island resident and Fort Knox, Ky., native, Morris Anthony Templeton, 67, was born Aug. 5, 1949 and died May 16 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville following a five-month battle with cancer. An employee of Bridgestone and a member of Christ Community Church, he was married May 5, 1978 to Jimmie Austin Templeton of Rock Island. He was a devoted husband and father.
