Mildred Louise Seamons Whitlock, 90, a Clarksville resident and Van Buren County native, was born April 22, 1929 and passed away March 16 at Tristar Skyline Medical Center following a sudden illness.

She was a retired secretary, a member of Central Church of Christ, and the daughter of the late Thomas Bryant and Emma Gertrude Miller Seamons. She was married to Billy Edwin Whitlock who preceded her in death on March 19, 2013. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Seamons Partin and Patricia Seamons Hughes.

Mrs. Whitlock is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Patricia Whitlock of Clarksville, TN; two grandsons, Brad Whitlock and Andy and Emily Whitlock both of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Tommie Gertrude Seamons and Ralph Coleman of Viola, TN and Mary Lorena Seamons Cobb of Greenville, SC. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels in McMinnville.

Graveside and interment will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Bethany Cemetery in Warren County with Wayne Cantrell officiating. Family and friends are to meet at cemetery. No visitation will be held at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com
