Mildred J. Johnson, 74, of Morrison died Nov. 8 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville.
Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Odie John Hobbs and Lyda Lou Myers Hobbs; sister Mary F. Hobbs; and brothers Delbert Hobbs, Elmer Hobbs, Earl Hobbs and Billy Hobbs.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her beloved husband, James Franklin Johnson of Morrison; five children, Stephen D. Fearing of Morrison, Cindy J. Myers (Rickey) of Viola, Sherry D. Frazier (Tony) of McMinnville, Kimberly R. Frazier (Kary) of Altamont, and James “J.P.” Johnson (Tara) of McMinnville; two sisters, Mary E. “Tootie” Myers of Altamont and Mable R. “Ruth” Johnson of McMinnville; eight grandchildren, Brad Myers, Eric Frazier, Heather Melton, Christa Frazier, Brittany McGee, Kelcie Fearing, Haley Johnson and Landon Johnson; five great-grandchildren, Allie Melton, Elissia Frazier, Isabella Searcy, McKenna Searcy and Bryce McGee, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Central Funeral Home in Manchester. Funeral service will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. at Central Funeral Home with Ralph Springer officiating. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery near Viola.
