Morrison resident and Warren County native Michael Lee Stubblefield, 66, was born Oct. 24, 1957 and died suddenly on Feb. 9, 2024 at River Park Hospital in McMinnville. 

A retired cable splicer and a member of Morrison Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Charles Edgar and Bertie Lee Beasley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Charlie and Lucy Beasley and paternal grandparents, Cork and Addie Stubblefield. 

He was married to Julia Stubblefield of Morrison on Sept. 17, 1994. In addition to his wife, Mr. Stubblefield is survived by brother, Steve (Terry) Stubblefield of Morrison; nephews, Cole (Ashley) Stubblefield and Colin Stubblefield and great-nephew, Boden Stubblefield. 

Michael loved fishing and was a lifetime member of the ZZ Top fan club.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11 at Morrison Cemetery in Warren County with Chris Perry officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at High’s.
