DeleteMary Pauline (Polly) Moffitt, 87, of McMinnville died Wednesday, Dec. 26 at River Park Hospital.
She was born Jan. 5, 1925, in McMinnville and was a homemaker and bookkeeper, and a member of Bates Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Moffitt was preceded in death by her parents Marshall and Lillie Emma Haley Scott; her husband B. F. Moffitt; a sister Martha Snipes, and a brother George Scott.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Sandy Moffitt and David and Annie Moffitt; grandchildren, Shawn and Julianne Moffitt and Angela and Steve Trapp, Russell Lytle and Michael and Darlana Lytle; great-grandchildren, Sydney and Aaron Moffitt, Dylan and Mackenzie Trapp, Hayden, Kennedy, Grant and Sophia Lytle.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Saturday, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Blake Stephens will officiate with interment to follow at Gardens of Memory. The Moffitt Family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. and again Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
