Mary Elizabeth Bunch, 72, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, was born Feb. 9, 1945 and died May 3 in NHC Healthcare of McMinnville following an extended illness.She was a homemaker, member of the Church of Christ, and daughter of the late John R. and Maggie Basham Cox. She was married to Jimmie Lee Bunch, who preceded her in death on May 6, 2013. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Lloyd Cox, Joe Cox and Allen Cox; and sister, Betty Myers.Mrs. Bunch is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Thomas R. and Ellen Mears, Jr. of McMinnville; three step-sons, Jimmy “Buddy” Bunch, Richard Bunch and Timmy Bunch, all of McMinnville; 12 grandchildren, Kayla Mears, Candice Rockhart, Nicole Mears, Kelsey Bunch, Cody Bunch, Jesse Bunch, Austin Bunch, Caine Bunch, Jacob Bunch, Curtis Mullins, Richard Bunch Jr. and Courtney Bunch, all of McMinnville; two great-grandchildren, Hayden Rockhart and Carter Rockhart both of McMinnville; 10 brothers and sisters, Seabert Cox of McMinnville, Lena Sue Perryman of Shelbyville, Paul Cox, Don Cox, Edna Hayes, Lucille Bunch, Wayne Cox, Charlotte Fitts, Jane George and Rickey Cox all of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews.
