Mrs. Mary Bianne Pennington, 77 of McMinnville, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024, at Tranquility Residence Hospice in Austell, Ga. She was born June 15, 1946, in Hickman, Tenn., was a former employee of Kingston Timers, worked several years at Stewarts Pharmacy as a pharmacy assistant, was currently an employee of Warren Farmers Co-Op, and was a member of Newtown The Baptist Church. Mrs. Pennington was preceded in death by parents, Oliver B. and Erma Christine Courtney Cowan; husband, John Douglas Pennington; and a brother, Billy Joe Cowan.

Survivors include her daughters, Regenia (John) Rovsek and Katrina Pennington Thompson; and granddaughters, Hannah Grace Rovsek and Abigail Pennington Thompson.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Martin Bell will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The Pennington family received friends on Saturday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will again on Sunday from noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Newtown The Baptist Church Building Fund in lieu of flowers.
